About Rafael, and how to contact him Rafael Antonio Campos Suaréz is a licensed, fully trained and professional tour guide whó has been sharing his extensive knowledge with tourists full time since 1996. He's a gifted naturalist with particular expertise in the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. (His specialty is birding, and he's working on an extensive life list.) He can also provide you and your group with information on the history, ecology, and geology of Costa Rica as you tour this beautiful country.

Rafael grew up in Costa Rica, attended school there and in Miami, Florida and in Montreal, Canada. After college in Montreal, he returned to Costa Rica for business college and professional guide training. Rafael loves his work, and takes great pleasure in using his language skills to introduce his country to people from all over the world.
